CMCS offers a Free Demand Service. This final demand gives your customer up to ten business days to pay their account. The demand advises the customer that the account will be referred to CMCS for collection if payment is not received prior to the expiration of the ten day period. If the claim is not paid by the tenth day, then the claim is assigned to a personal adjustor for immediate collection action. CMCS should be promptly notified of any payments, or correspondence received from your customer during the demand period.

Best of all, there are no collection fees under the Free Demand Service. The timely use of the Free demand Service can reduce the overall cost of collection services substantially.
